The Legend of Korra is an American animated television series that premiered on the Nickelodeon television network in 2012. It was created by Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko as a sequel to their series Avatar: The Last Airbender, which aired on Nickelodeon from 2005 to 2008.

Despite his faults and actions in the past I'm still giving him a chance. I don't hate him, nor am I mad at him, but it's very hard for me to sympathize with him. So I'm hoping that the upcoming seasons will give Mako a chance to redeem himself and make him a more likeable character. What do you think?

I'm pretty sure that they'll be trying to make Mako look more like... Maybe just less than an douche. Although I love this show I must say that they had their amounts of episodes shortened and all fandom saw that there had been mistakes and unclear points. Look at Asami; she appears out of blue, next episode she's Mako's true lovelest 5eva and then she vanishes with a hawk face. In my opinion authors just couldn't handle the relationship part because they haven't got enough time. And, as I've seen doodles of the Korra's crew on the tumblr, they don't seem to love Mako very much either. I'm really courious what will hapen next!

Nah it's cool. I was able to understand what you were saying. And yeah the whole reason the relationship arc was poorly written out was because they were only allowed 12 episodes which didn't give them enough time to write the story they wanted to write. And while I admit Asami's introduction appeared offsetting and confusing she is, without a doubt, one of the most valuable and interesting characters to appear in LOK. And I'm not sure if the authors really don't like Mako or if he's just fun to mess with. Regardless I still have hope that he'll change for the better in the upcoming seasons. And I hope anyone who currently has a strong disliking for him will still have hope for him as well.
